'55 - '57 Chevy Steering Columns and Adapters

When using an original or 605 steering box, the following items will be required for your installation: rag joint, floor mount and wiring adaptor. This installation kit is $145.00

Flaming River '55 - '57 Chevy Columns
Columns feature 2" tube for direct bolt-in fit with your existing dash bezel. All new components for updated steering technology. Complete with stainless steel dress up kit (tilt/turn signal levers and hazard knob), GM wiring (4-1/4" connector) and canceling cam. Shaft size is 1" DD. Neutral Safety switch included. Available in paintable steel of Polished Stainless.

	Tapered Steering Wheel Adapter Forged aluminum polished wheel adapter with a 2-1/2" total height, fits perfectly with the Flaming River tilt steering columns and wheels. This adapter actually fits on the column shroud for a "seamless appearance". Available in 5 bolt or 6 bolt. $89.00

	Bell Style Steering Wheel Adapter Bell adapter is a unique upgrade style of adapter for that special show car. Forged aluminum polished wheel adapter with a 2-1/2" total height, fits perfectly with the Flaming River tilt steering columns and wheels. This adapter actually fits on the column shroud for a "seamless appearance". Available in 5 bolt or 6 bolt. $89.00



For installing an option that never was, ididit designed this perfect replacement for original '55 and '57 Chevy columns - but with the added comfort of 5-way tilt. Comes completely wired and is fully equipped with self-canceling turn signals, 4-way flashers, horn wiring and ididit Aluminum Dress-Up Kit. Offered in steel and aluminum in five finishes. Uses a 1" DD shaft and an industry standard 3-7/8" GM wiring harness connector for ease of installation. Designed for use with stock steering wheel, '69 or newer GM wheels, or most others with optional adapter. Please specify which steering box or rack you'll be using when ordering.
