Jaysun positions the Johns Industries 9" Ford rear end housing in the chassis jig.
Careful measurements get the housing centered perfectly in the chassis.
Our digital level lets us get it perfect.
Now we'll put the transverse spring in. The brackets are tacked to the housing.
The ladder bars are tacked in now as well.
John welds up the brackets on the housing.
Here's the TIG welds.
We mocked it up with only the main leaf.
Now it's out of the jig and we're adding the rest of the leaves to the spring.
Jaysun tries it out.
