| The
American Stamping frame rails are mocked up in the jig. We'll need to place
the body over the frame rails before boxing to get the
rails matched up to the body. |
| The
body shop guys have already begun smoothing the body over
in the paint shop. |
| Here's
a look inside the car and you can see the area of the body
that has been channelled. |
| We
use the lift to raise the body off of the crate. |
| Jaysun
rolls the jig under the body and prepares to set the body
down on the frame rails. |
| With
the body down on the frame rails, we can now finish
jigging the frame rails. |
| The
next step is to box the rails. Jaysun has stitch welded
the boxing plates onto the frame rails. We'll only box the
rails up to the point where the '32 front will be grafted
on. |
| The
frame rails have been ground smooth and are mocked up on
our flat plate jig. |
| The
body shop guys are busy smoothing the body and getting the
gaps consistent. These Redneck bodies need very little
massaging to get them to the paint stage. |
