Once the rails are cut, they are moved inward and tacked in place.

Here's the frame after welding and smoothing.

Jaysun puts the rear end under the chassis with the tires mounted up.

The Heidt's front suspension is being installed. The crossmember is tacked in place and the suspension components are being bolted in place.

Back at the rear, we need to make the four bar work with the stepped in frame. We start by welding 3/8" plate steel on each side of the frame where the mounting lug will be for the top bar.

Steel plate is welded onto each side of the frame rail.

And smoothed up.

Jaysun drills the hole where the mounting lug will go.

The hole goes all the way through the frame and both steel plates.

The mounting lug is tacked into the frame.
