Construction Pictorial

Jaysun starts taking the measurements for modifying the rear of the frame.

We put one of the wheels and tires on the jig to find the axle placement so we'll know how high to kick up the frame.

Now we'll cut the frame rails off.

The frame rails are pieced back together with the proper kickup to clear the rear.

At the front of the frame, we'll need to pinch it for the Heidt's open wheel front end.

Here we slit the top of the frame to pull it in.

Inside the frame rails, you can see how we patched them together after cutting.

Now we'll box the rails.

Jaysun takes one of the completed rails outside for smoothing.

The frame rails are going back in the jig.
