Robert Goswick's '34 Ford Coupe begins here in the chassis shop. Jaysun puts the frame rails in the jig. First step is to sand the edges to get a smooth surface for the boxing plates.

The chassis parts are piled up and waiting to be installed.

Jaysun's welding in the boxing plates.

With the boxing plates all welded up, we can take them out of the jig and do the finish grinding. Jaysun's smoothing them up outside the shop to keep the grinding dust out of the shop.

Must be break time!

In the mean time, we're getting the wheels ready to paint so we can mount the tires. Here's the wheels with etching primer sprayed on.

These smoothie wheels have weld lines in them. We don't want this to show so we need to smooth them up before we go any further.

The silver base coat has been applied. The next step is to put some orange on.

The orange candy has been sprayed over the silver basecoat.

The frame rails are back in the jig and the crossmembers are going in.
