We
don't have the room that Steadman's had, so we have to
put the radiator in between the frame rails, so we
had to angle the tabs to fit on top of the rails.
We
still have the radiator in the flow of the grill
opening, but we will need to shroud this Griffin radiator
for a single SPAL fan.
Here
is the beginning of the shrould
The
lips are rolled over and there are holes in all 4
corners. They will later be covered with a rubber
flap, so when the car is moving down the road the flaps
will blow open and let more air flow through the radiator.
When
the car is sitting still and the fan comes on the rubber
flaps will set flat against the shroud and force the air
through the radiator.
With the radiator
mounted and condenser mounted to the radiator we are looking
good.
Like Steadman's
radiator we used a brace to steady the radiator from the back.
Tom wanted a type
of push bar so this is what he had Tim fabricate.
Looks pretty
good.
