This shows both of the fenders installed after widening. The tape line on the left fender shows where we'll cut them off.

As you can see from this angle, the fenders will need to be trimmed off and reshaped.

The rear of the fenders are trimmed and rounded. Next we need to get the flare in them.

The rear of the fenders need to kick up to match the rear roll pan. We used florist foam because it shapes easy and then we will fiberglass over this when we get the correct shape.

Paint paddles are used to help the fiberglass dry flat.

Now the fenders are beginning to take shape.

The flare matches the rear of the car.

Here's another example of using the florist foam. The tricky part of all this is getting the front of the fenders to flare into the body to match the concept drawing. We are dealing with several different compound curves here.
