| Now
we are starting to glass over the foam to get
our fenders to look the way we want them to.
This is kind of like what Big Daddy Roth did
when he used plaster of paris to make his cars. |

| We
are fitting the fender to the car in this
picture and also are getting ready to change the
fender reveal around the fender. |

| Look
close and you can see the recessed license
plate. The Trick Tag will be installed into the
recessed area and the license plate will flip
down when the car is started. |

| The
front fenders are the next step. Jeff's idea is
to have "motorcycle like" fenders on
the front wheels. So we ordered these
fenders from Fat Cat's that came in two pieces
and we narrowed them down to fit the tires. |

| Here's
the mad scientist (John) working on the front
fenders welding the two halves together. |

| We
have fitted the fender over the top of the tire
and will now have to trim them and metal shape
the front and rear and make the fender mounts. |

| The
six speed transmission is bolted to the back of
the engine. Jeff decided to change from a
700R to a six speed. This is will mean another
change to the frame. |

| The
manual transmission doesn't clear one of the
crossmembers so we removed a section of the
crossmember and will install a loop over the
transmission. |

| We
had to remake the motor mounts so that the
bigger transmission would clear. This meant
raising everything. Starting with the motor
mounts. |

| Because
the six speed is so much bigger this meant we
will have to cut the original tranny tunnel out
and make it larger to accept the six
speed. |
