engine and transmission are positioned in the chassis with
blocks. Once the engine and trans are in the right
position, we make the tubular motor mounts. |

| Here's
another shot of the engine installed. Look at the tape
lines on the side of the frame below the body. We'll use
those soon. |

slid the body back and is welding up the transmission
mount. |

| The
engine installation is complete. Now it's time to cut the
hole in the body for the shifter. |
|
|
|
| Remember
the tape lines? We use the tape to get an exact
placement for the shifter hole. The tape is run across the
body on to the frame. Once the body is removed, we
can measure from the tape on the frame to get the exact
position for the hole. |
