The Pork Chop Project

Page 1 2 3 4 Next-->

We're gonna BUILD IT till YOU BUY IT!!

The Pork Chop, as it's "lovingly" referred to, is the shop car that's been sitting around the shop in various stages of completion for a couple years. It's a Brinkley Zipper Phaeton body on a stretched '32 Chassis. You may have seen it at some of the shows last year. Check out some pictures of The Pork Chop Project as it goes along. And remember, IT'S FOR SALE AT ANY POINT OF COMPLETION!

Construction Pictorial

The Pork Chop rolls on Vintique Billet wheels with 16's in the front and 18's in the rear. A removable top makes for topless fun in the sun.

The Pork Chop has a '34 style front end with a front opening hood.

Pete and Jakes new finned backing plates adorn the front of the Pork Chop.

A 9" Ford rear, chrome coilovers and ladder bars make up the rear suspension. Wilwood's new disc brake setup with internal emergency brake supplies the stopping power.

The polished aluminum drilled I beam with chrome hairpins points the Pork Chop in the right direction.

Here's the Dr. Evil 700R4 that will provide the gearing.

The chromed out Groom's Engines powerplant is being readied to drop into the frame of the Pork Chop.

The front end is off now and we're getting ready to drop the engine in. Check out that cool rack and pinion. It's a new product that bolts up to an existing Vega mount.

Michael readies the Groom's engine. "You mean this is a CHEVY engine? Going in a FORD?"
