The next step for the body will be to sand and buff the clear coat.

Here it is rolled out in the sun.

With the body out of the paint booth, the doors will be next.

The clear coat is applied to the doors. Now we'll need to wet sand the body and the doors and buff them out.

The hood and grille shell are painted.

Juan's sanding the trunk lid so we can buff it out after clearcoating.

The doors are being sanded prior to buffing. These steps are necessary to "bury" the flames. First the flames, then clearcoat. Then the door is sanded to remove the lines, then clearcoated and buffed again.

The chassis is on the lift so we can put the brake lines on.

Juan drills the holes for the thru frame fittings.

The body is untaped after buffing and ready to be set on the chassis.
