It is time now to put the gas tank in place.  We will need to do some modifications.

We wanted to hide the gas tank in the trunk this will give the car nicer sleeker look.

As you can see we will have to customize a new filler neck for the gas tank.

Tacking mounting tabs to tank so it will stay in place in the trunk.

Like it says on the tape we had to move the sending hole.

The reason we moved the sending unit is because the float was hitting the baffle.

We cut the hole for the filler neck.

Now that we have the right angle we welded it up.

The finished tank was painted black.

With the filler neck lined up we connected the gas tank filler cap.
