| First
thing is we have to pull the motor so we have more room to
work on the hood and grill shell. |
| Now
the motor is pulled. That is one Bad
Ass
302 Ford. |
| Time
to start fitting the hood we have to see if all are gaps
are proportioned just right and if the grill is in the
right place. |
| We're
starting to fit the rear of the Carolina Custom hood hinge
kit by mounting it in front of the fire wall. |
| Now
we do the same thing to the front by mounting the hinge to
the rear of the grill shell. |
| Carolina
Custom hinges are now in place and ready for the hood. |
| As
you can see we had to stretch the hood just a smidge so we
used a welding rod and tacked it in place to give us the length
we needed. |
| We
had to stitch weld the rod in place little by little to
prevent any warping of the hood. |
| Now
it is all ground smooth and ready to be put back on the
car. |
