Colton Blair's '32 Roadster started with a new chassis we had in stock complete with all the chrome goodies and a Halibrand rear. The Downs body has been channeled over the frame in the front for a good rake.
The Duvall style windshield had to be blended into the cowl.
We built a filler receptacle into the rear of the roadster.
The body is being prepped for primer.
This pic shows the roll pan we installed.
With the rake of the body, the grille shell had to be cut down and a custom radiator built. Juan is installing the radiator into the grille shell.
We had Rock Valley build a custom stainless tank which we connected to the filler neck.
A steel three piece hood is fitted and installed on the roadster.
The frame is being prepped for painting.
Here's the back of the frame after painting and assembling. Check out the chrome ladder bars and Halibrand rear.
Here's a shot of the complete chassis.
The body is undergoing final prep for painting. A cool hot rod semi-flat black.
After painting and assembling, Colton's car is ready to be picked up.
