Here's a good shot of the ZZ4 Aluminum head Crate Motor. Tony is busy running the braided lines for the transmission and John's finishing up the fuel lines.
Red Hot Red. This Sedan will be a looker! The fenders have received the first coat of paint.
Looks like the body is about ready for the paint booth. Mike the Painter says next week it'll be RED.
The red paint has been sprayed. The bottom of the car has been wet sanded in preparation for the striping. Once the striping is completed the car will be clear coated again and buffed.
The chassis is now ready for the body to be reinstalled.
The exhaust is run and the cushion strips have been attached to the top of the frame.
The body is placed on the rack and the chassis is rolled underneath it.
The body is then carefully lowered into place on to the frame.
Bolt it down Larry!
With the striping completed, it's time to clear coat the car and buff it out.
After clear coating, the clear coat is wet sanded and then buffed to a foot deep shine.
Here's a shot of the back of the sedan after buffing.
With the buffing finished, we'll soon be reinstalling the body pieces.
