Let's start on the roll bar. We have removed a section of the floor, moved the tubs outward and fabricated mounts on the outside of the frame rails.

This is the front side of the roll bar.

We cut holes in the floor and tack welded part of the front mounts to the chassis.

We're getting closer.

Oh I forgot! If you want to go fast, you've got to have tunes, so we fabricated in the speakers to clear the roll bar.

This gives you a better view of the front mounting of the roll bar.

The roll bar was fabricated to be taken apart, so the upholstery could be done and we could powder coat the roll bar.

All the welding has been finished and it will be taken to Advanced Plating in Nashville, TN for the powder coating.

The fuel tank waiting to be trial fit into place.

john-b--25

Before we ordered the fuel tank we cut the wheel wells and moved them outward.

john-b--26

We are trying to see the clearance for the fuel tank.

john-b--27

To keep the tank level we had to fabricate a bracket.

As you can see we even took more out of the fender wells so we would have clearance for the roll bar.  Because this is a gasser the wheels sit out farther, this allows us to get away with some of the modifications we are doing.

The first cuts on the tubs are marked with masking tape.

Here what it looks like all glassed together.
