Setting the Optima battery in place.
To keep with the nostalgic look of the car we used a functioning trunk handle and fabricated a latch.
We started laying out the dash board.
Now it's being sanded and filled.
The beginning of the layout
Classic Mooneye gauges set in place.
Tom wants a nostalgic Mooneyes foot for his throttle.
So we took Lokar's floor mount pedal and modified it.
It has the perfect angle and plenty of clearance because we were able to flatten the tunnel.
Tim fabricated a bracket to hold the throttle cable.
We couldn't of pulled this off if Lokar didn't have such a cool product to use.
Now we start on the headers.
Tim started tacking stuff together so we would have that nostalgic look.
Looking down from the top of the hood, you can see how the headers are shaping up.
Wow! Now they are really staring to look cool!
This view looks even cooler!
I liked it so well I had to stand back and take it all in.
