Complete Conversion Kit
Front steer rack and pinion improved clearance allows the use
of virtually any oil pan. The front steer design is achieved
by reversing the OE spindle arms. This moves the rack forward
and out of the way of the oil pan for both big block and small
block engines. The quick ratio power rack and pinion
cradle systems replace the early long shaft steering box in
the '62-'67 Nova. The true fixture welded mounting cradle fits
between the frame rails and bolts in place using the original
chassis location. The system installs easily and provides full
turning radius with a more responsive steering system than the
original.

Manual Quick Ratio Steering Box Kit
Flaming River makes a new direct bolt in steering system for
your early Nova to eliminate the long shaft column and sloppy
worn out steering box. This new box design mounts with a
convenient chassis bracket and features a quick steering ratio
of only 3.5 turns lock -to lock compared to the original 6
turns. This allows for an overall improved steering response.
Since the early Nova used a slave cylinder this same manual box
can be used with either the power or manual system. Flaming
River included virtually everything you need for a clean simple installation
right down to the u-joint and steering column
