Chevelle Power or Manual Complete Conversion Kit with Tilt
Column
Flaming River has introduced a rack & pinion cradle steering
system for the 1968 to 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino,
plus other GM intermediate cars of the same period. The system
is designed for cars powered by small or big block Chevrolet
engines and uses a unique TravelBar system that connects new
tubular inner tie-rod ends to the original pivot points,
reducing bump steer. The Chevelle rack and pinion cradles are
precision jig-welded and install in the stock steering system
mounting holes. No drilling, cutting or welding is required.
