The column comes complete with a neutral
safety switch. The shift pattern on the column will allow for use of
either 3-speed or 4-speed automatic transmission. A shift linkage
is required for installation and will attach to the lower shift arm at
bottom of column.

A: 4-Way Flasher Kit
This wiring kit is used to adapt your stock wiring to your ididit,
Inc. steering column.
B: Modified Shaft
When using the Econo Kit the original shaft will need to be cut and
modified as shown in drawing B. Necessary on all Econo Kits.
C: Intermediate Shaft (3/4"DD - 36")
This mild steel shaft is simply cut to length and installed in the
rag join and the u-joint, then locked in position with set screws. The
3/4" DD shape allows a safe and inexpensive way to replace your
intermediate shaft. Included in Deluxe Kits.
D: Coupler
Use the coupler to connect the intermediate shaft to the ididit,
Inc. column.
E: Rag Joint
A vibration reducer used between your intermediate shaft to the
ididit, Inc. column.
F: Universal Joint
A u-joint is used to connect the intermediate shaft and the column.
