Ken's chassis is in the jig and we're installing the front end.
The 9" Ford rear is in place in the chassis.
The chrome triangular four bar is in along with the coil over shocks.
We're putting a rack on this one in place of the Vega box.
Here's a new product from John's Industries. Finned brake drums to match the Functional Fakes on the front.
Here's the Functional Fakes. They're disc brakes hidden by brake drums for that nostalgic look.
Ken's chassis is rolling and we're waiting on the five window body.
Ken came in from North Carolina with this all original five window.
We lifted the body off the original chassis.
Here's the body sitting on the new chassis.
The body is back from the stripper.
The guys lift the body off the crate and set it back on the chassis.
Before we start cutting, we brace the body with square tubing to make sure it holds it's shape.
The passenger door has some rust in the bottom of it that needs to be fixed.
The bottom door brace is being cut out.
Here's the new piece we'll be putting in.
Now the bottom of the door is cut off.
The rusty floor needs to be removed and replaced with new metal.
The floor is all cut out.
