Butch's 37 Chevy
Butch brought in this amazing 37 Chevy in need of a paint job and wouldn't ya know it we were excited to be a part of it. Below we will show you some of the steps in the painting process of this stunning car.
This is what Butch's 37 Chevy looked when it arrived at our shop.
You can see from the first picture the hood reveal did not align with the cowl reveal.
So we had to remove the reveal and re-fiberglass it into the right alignment.
In this picture it shows the reveal on the hood and the cowl aligned.
A little primer on the hood and onto making the top of the hood fit with the cowl.
As you can see in this picture the rear fender had big holes in it for some terrible taillights.
You can see now that we are blocking the rear deck lid to match the body of the car.
Final smoothing before primer
Ugly holes have disappeared and we are in primer.
